Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ – Matthew 22:37-38 (NIV)

We love to study God’s Word, encourage each other in our walk with God, deepen our friendships and support each other through good times and bad. We offer several small groups for members and friends.  Read about some these below:

Adult Bible Study – The Bethel Bible Series is an intensive two year study of the Old and New Testaments, developed in Madison, Wisconsin over 50 years ago and now popular worldwide.  Seventeen parishioners are involved in Bethel, and gather each week for two hours from September to June.  Upon completion of the two year program, graduates who desire to do so, will be qualified to teach the one year congregational phase which we hope to implement.  This phase will enable parishioners to understand how both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures are intrinsically linked, from Genesis to the Revlation to John. “The Bethel program provides ordinary Christians with a working knowledge of the Bible and is an excellent resource for teaching biblical relevancy today.”

Shoresh Study Tour to Israel – entitled, “God’ s Faithfulness, is being led by The Rev’d Marilyn Flower,  November 16-29, 2016. This tour comes near  the conclusion of the Bethel program and will be a great opportunity for Bethel students to walk the lands of the Bible.  The tour will include accommodation and land travel from Hebron and the Negev Desert in the South to Dan in the North with many places in between, including Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Masada, Megiddo, the Sea of Galilee and Qumran.  The costs will be approximately $2500.00 U.S. per person for the tour portion based on double occupancy.  Air costs and the possibility of a group booking from our home province are being investigated.  If you are interested in joining our group contact Marilyn at [email protected] for further information.
