St. Barnabas Harvest Ministries

The Name

The name, “St. Barnabas Harvest Ministries” is a reference to Acts 11 where we read that Barnabas was sent to Antioch from Jerusalem to encourage the young church. It is said he encouraged those who already believed and brought many to the Lord.  Barnabas is described as a man full of the Holy Spirit and Faith. The word, “Harvest” in the name reflects a number of references (eg. John 4.35; Luke 10.2) in the Gospels wherein Jesus says calls the disciples to go and proclaim the Good News, saying, ‘The fields are white unto harvest.’

To share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador

To rejuvenate those who already believe, to bring to salvation  those who do not know Christ and to help hasten a mighty revival of God’s people in this Province.

The first event will be held at Old Shop, Trinity Bay, on Thursday, August 2nd, at the home of Rick and Beverly Hayward. Rev. Howard Hynes will give a clear presentation  of the Gospel message. All are welcome. (see poster)
